Design Statement:
St. Croix men's store is a specialty store featuring men's knit fashions and leather outerwear. Located in Seattle's new Elliot Grand Hyatt, the store caters to locals and visitors. The extremely narrow space required a creative solution to accommodate the changing rooms, office and stockroom while maintaining a feeling of spaciousness. Suspended multi-layered ceiling planes help break up the linear nature of the space. Custom display fixtures support the wide range of products including numerous styles of lightweight knit shirts. The warm color scheme relates to the palette of the colors used in the hotel lobby and suites

Despite a tight budget, the store achieves a feeling of elegance and permanence.
